How to Financially Support my Campaign  

Thank you, in advance for any financial contribution you can make to assist my campaign to be your next Congressman.  The Federal Election Commission has many legal requirements that any/all political campaigns must comply with. All funds we receive can only be spent to defray the cost of running a campaign and communicating with you and other voters.  All contributors to any federal political campaign must be identified to prohibit violations of donation limits in current election laws. We cannot accept your donation to my campaign, if you don't provide the demographic information requested in the form below. You can print this page and mail it to the address below, or you can make a secure "on-line" contribution by credit card. All contributions will require the same donor identifying information.

All contributions to Adams for Congress must conform to the laws and reporting  requirements of  the Federal Election Commission and Federal campaign laws.  Your valuable contribution cannot be accepted unless each contribution is accompanied by this  personal information.

Every political campaign must confirm that all financial donors are:

1. A United States citizen or a permanent resident alien.

2. At least 18 years of age.

Required Opt-Out Statement.  Please check here ____  if you do NOT want to be contacted by e-mail by the campaign for purposes other than to verify contribution information.  If you choose to not opt out, you will be added to our e-mail announcement list.   

The maximum allowable contribution per election cycle is $2,400 per person. Legally married couples may give up to $4,800 from common funds, but both signatures must be named specifically on the bank account contributing the funds.  Each election year has two cycles; a Primary Election and a General Election.  As an example, an individual may contribute a maximum of $2400.00 before the Republican Party Primary Election (August 24, 2010) and an additional $2400.00 between any necessary Run-off Election and November 2, 2010 (General Election Day).  It is not permissible to combine these maximum totals in any way.  The purchase of a ticket for admittance to a campaign fund raiser is legally considered a campaign contribution.

All direct financial contributions from corporations and foreign nationals are prohibited by federal election laws. Partnership contributions with unincorporated partners are permitted, providing you indicate which unincorporated partner the contribution should be attributed to and the amount to be attributed. Each unincorporated partner must contribute with separate checks. Contributions to Adams for Congress are not tax deductible.
